Together in Our Changing WorldNew Provincial Report CardIn September 2010, Premier Greg Selinger announced the introduction of a parent-friendly report card to ensure that parents get the information they need to be full partners in their child's education.The Provincial Report Card will help enhance the quality of education in Manitoba and build strong partnerships amongst students, teachers and parents. Although you will notice some changes from the report card that you have been receiving, these changes are small ones and you will find that the new report is very similar to our current report.A Parent brochure explaining the new report card has been written by Manitoba Education and is available on the Department's website at:The brochures will help explain the new report card and how your child has been assessed.You can also view the template for the report card at:The best information about your child's achievement in school is still obtained from your child's teacher. Beginning in 2013-2014, St. James-Assiniboia School Division will be using the Provincial Report Card for Grades 1 to 12 in all of our schools.
