MARGE representatives on the Liaison Retiree Committee also meet regularly with management of Manitoba Blue Cross to deal with issues pertaining to group health care, ambulance and dental benefits for pension recipients.BenefitsMARGE members receive discounts on a six-month or one-year City of Winnipeg Fitness Pass (spring and fall each year) and members in Portage receive a reduced rate to work out at the PCU Centre. MARGE represents retirees in negotiations with the Province on pension and life insurance improvements that may result from these surpluses.MARGE representatives sit on the Civil Service Superannuation Board (CSSB) Liaison Committee and MARGE continues to lobby for permanent CSSB representation.
