We are pleased to announce the appointment ofDon Leitchas the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Business Council of Manitoba. In the position of Cabinet Secretary he held the most senior position in the Manitoba civil service. We had a great list of candidates and we are pleased to have Don join us' said Doug Harvey, CEO of Maxim Truck and Trailer and Chair of the CEO Search Committee of the Business Council of Manitoba.A native of Manitob,a Leitch served as Clerk of the Executive Council in the Manitoba Government for over eleven years. With his varied experience and background, his passion for Manitoba and mutual goals with the Council, we know that Don will work hard for the betterment of Manitoba and its people. Leitch continued his public sector career when he was recruited to British Columbia where he held positions as the Deputy Minister of economic development, tourism, competition, trade and investment, and small business.
